At Hawaii Palms we schedule
fun activities for our students every week. Some activities like Hula
Lessons and Ukulele Lessons take place in the afternoon or after school. But our most exciting
activities and special weekly activity occurs on Friday or Saturday each week.
At the end of your first week of classes, we schedule a school
barbecue at the beach, where you will have a chance to have fun and talk with
your teachers in a relaxed setting outside of school.
Every Saturday at 9:00 a.m. and at 1:00 p.m. there are surfing
lessons at Waikiki Beach if you want to learn how to surf. You are taught by a
professional surfer who will have you standing up and surfing on your first day!
On the weekend after the 2nd week of classes we will take you and your friends at
school on a sailing ship cruise to watch the sunset at sea
in Waikiki. It's called the Mai Tai Sailboat Catamaran and includes free Mai Tai drinks!
On the 3rd weekend we usually take a group of students to The North Shore for
swimming and sightseeing. This is an overnight trip and luau at
The Polynesian Cultural Center, which is a Hawaiian party with exotic dancing.
At the end of your 3rd or 4th week of classes, you can go to one of
the other islands for a 3-day- 2-nights adventure! This winter in
February we will be traveling to the island of Maui to go Whale Watching.
You will also be given the opportunity to go snorkeling to
see fishes, turtles, and maybe dolphins! Every weekend we have a different
activity planned. Please let us know what you want to do! Click this link to
