What Students Say About Hawaii Palms!
Jennifer takes us through her last day at HPES and reflects on her time spent with her new Hawaiian family.
I went to Hawaii Palms English School from very far away and from my first day the staff and the students made me feel at home. I'll never forget how fun the school and all the nice people I met there were. In addition, I learned a lot with a very kind, funny, and professional teacher. I could never have expected to live an experience so beautiful and enriching. I don't have any doubt that if someday I go back to Hawaii, my first (and only) choice will be this school. Thank you all for your smiles and kindness. I would put more and more and more great and awesome things about the school and the staff but you would need a website only for my opinions!
Hawaii was for me a paradise with the sun, warm weather, beautiful blue sea, relaxed people, lovely food, and cold drinks. I even ran in the local marathon. I enjoyed studying English for 8 weeks in Hawaii Palms English School.
HPES had an unbelievably nice atmosphere, with supportive and magnificent personnel, and they scheduled fun activities every weekend. A perfect combination!
I got a lot more courage to speak English with anybody, anywhere. I made many new friends from around the world.
Many thanks to the principal and all of the teachers and secretaries. I’m hoping to one day return to the same school to further my study of English.
I attended the 1-week Semi-Intensive Course this September because I had really enjoyed the course I attended here last winter. I tried to study English at home but I feel I improve a lot faster here at Hawaii Palms because staff and teachers speak to me only in English. What I really liked was the many opportunities I had to speak English outside of class. I can’t thank all the staff and teachers enough for making my kids and I feel at home. My dream is to someday move to Hawaii, but until then my kids and I will continue to come back to Hawaii Palms to study every year! Kyoko
Writing words is not very easy for me, but I really enjoyed learning how to spell with pictures of animals, food, and shapes. And my teacher taught me sentences using the words and the spelling I had learned. It was fun! Ryota
I appreciate Hawaii Palms so much for giving a chance to realize what I really want to do in the future. I took a leave of absence from university to think about what I want to do. I’d been wanting to study English for a long time so I decided to take the 8-week Intensive Course here at Hawaii Palms. I was a little nervous at first but thanks to the helpful staff, nice teachers, and many friends that I made here, I was able to relax and enjoy my studies every day. I’m now thinking about going abroad in the future so I will continue to study English!
What can I say about the school? I have never enjoyed school so much before.... while learning a language!
Our teachers (both Tyler and Hannah) were nice and very patient with us to understand every word without neglecting anything.
I also think it was very interesting being in a multi-ethnic class, because it enabled us to feel more secure in conversation, and also to understand Japanese customs for us and Italian traditions for the Japanese.
It has been an interesting experience, fun and magic ...... I'll take heart forever!!!!!
I studied 12 weeks at HPES, and at this time I can say that it was an unforgettable experience and also one of the best decisions that I ever made. The school location is excellent and the teachers are highly qualified to teach English.
Now besides having the English Language as an extra skill and tool for life, I also had a great time while I was in Hawai´i. I met unique and beautiful places and I always felt supported by the school staff. They treated me excellently and they also provided me useful information to make my staying nicer and easier.
